He married twice. He married Tassie Mae SIMS April 6, 1913. Tassie was born May 10, 1896. Tassie died January 10, 1929 at 32 years of age. Her body was interred in Burch Cemetery, Hiawassee, Georgia. He married Ola SHOOK March 21, 1929. Ola was born February 21, 1912.
